I would have loved to do it as an HDR, but I only just got CS3, and I need a new lens, so Photomatix Pro will have to wiat a little while.

Ahh! I have CS3, but I always use Corel PSP X2. Cheaper and my favourite software besides LightRoom.

I have been using ACDSee Pro, the Pro 2. I still do use them, but in conjunction with CS3. My fabulous friend (Sadandal, [link]) has two daughters (Ragnarok-Leaves-None, [link] and CircuitDruid, [link]) who have been using Photoshop for school, so we bit the proverbial bullet and got the full CS3 (Sadandal and I also maintain about 10 websites in our "copious" spare time, and are 2/3's of a professional medieval company, Days of Knights, [link].au).

I started with JASC Paintshop 2.0 way back when, but when I stopped photographing for over a decade I lost track of such wonders. I've only been getting back into my photography the last year or so, and it's a steep learning curve again for me. I was trained in film, and use digital now.

It's also very pretty, but I find the black at the edges a bit unbalancing.
